Push/pull solenoids are designed to achieve the greatest suction force with the smallest size and weight by covering the maximally wound coil section with a high permeability metal, and by providing an auxiliary magnetic pole on the plunger, resulting in a 20-50% increase in suction force compared to those without an auxiliary magnetic pole. Additionally, the height has been made flatter compared to open-frame solenoids, significantly improving integration performance.
